AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman Monday in connection with the Augusta Mall shooting. 

Tybrea Nelson, 24, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault for her role in the shooting, according to officials.

According to the arrest warrant, Nelson "was present when [an] unknown individual shot the victim with a... firearm. Following the shooting, [Nelson] transported the [alleged shooter] to an unknown location in her vehicle."

The warrant also indicates a man residing on Richmond Hill Road was shot more than once, resulting in serious injury. He is said to be in stable condition at a local hospital.

A North Augusta woman is also listed as a victim.

Police announced Sunday that two women were wanted for questioning in the shooting. The release was later canceled.

The Sheriff's Office has not publicly identified a shooter. Nelson was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
