EDGEFIELD, S.C. (WFXG) - The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office and several fire crews were called to a fire at the Pizza Hut on Augusta Road late Wednesday night. 

Deputies say the call came in around 10 p.m. and that they believe the fire started in the kitchen. 

Officials told FOX54 reporter Allissa Young that no one was hurt in the incident.

As of 12:15 a.m. Thursday, the fire has been put out and there is still a heavy police and fire crew presence at the scene. FOX54 is still working to learn more details about the extent of the damage to the restaurant.
