EVANS, Ga. - A husband and wife, both veterans, opened a spot in Evans with hot wings, fresh burgers and cheesy appetizers, all named after military terms.

"People tell us that we do the best Rueben that they've either ever had or the best one here in the CSRA," co-owner Kelly O'Neal said.

Expect to order any burger you could ever want at Rally Point Grille on Washington Road in Evans. "We use all, 100% fresh beef," O'Neal said.

Their burgers are piled high with cheese, bacon, sauces and the list goes on. Their most popular burgers offered are the Flamethrower burger and the O Dark Thirty burger.

"So, the flamethrower uses the nuke sauce that we make in-house," O'Neal explained.

Customers can get it cooked exactly the way they want it and they don't skimp on seasoning.

"We use a burger seasoning and a fry seasoning. Adds a little flavor to it," O'Neal smiled.

O'Neal wouldn't disclose the ingredients for their "secret" seasoning to FOX54.

Their appetizers, like the garlic cheese curds or giant pretzel, are enough food to feed an army.

Kelly O'Neal and his wife Tiffany wanted to make a place where veterans feel at home.

"First time I retired, I felt really, really lost afterwards and I think a lot of veterans go through that. We wanted to have that kind of place that people could come and feel connected," Kelly O'Neal said.

Inside the restaurant, photos from decades back line the walls honoring veterans and their families.

At Rally Point Grille, veterans can dip into their stories and the flavorful sauces.

"We have a jalapeno ranch. And, we have a chipotle ranch. And we make our ranch in-house," O'Neal said.

Rally Point Grille has a fish fry on Friday nights with haddock, a fish commonly eaten up north.

They've also got a deal on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with 20 wings and two drinks for $20.
