EAT. PLAY. GO. treat yourself at Arie's Artisan Cheesecake

EVANS, Ga. - Regulars keep coming back to one local dessert shop for an ice cold, special treat.

Arie's Artisan Cheesecake is celebrating their one year anniversary.

"I just didn't want something super sweet and super heavy," owner Arielle Page said. "These are light, these are delicate, they're decadent."

Baking since she was 6 or 7 years old, Page always knew she wanted to open a bakery.

"It's kind of surreal that I'm standing here talking to you right now," Page told FOX54.

At Arie's Artisan Cheesecake, there's no limit to flavors. 

"My favorite right now is the sweet potato cheesecake," one customer said. "I ordered it for a women's club meeting the other night and it was a real hit. Everybody loved it. And so, I'll be getting a lot more of those."

Page said she will take new flavor ideas from customers. She thinks outside the cake box.

"We've gotten fruity pebble cheesecake, which is my favorite, that was my favorite one we've done. Pineapple upside down cheesecake, but I want a crazy one! So, if anyone's watching or listening, just give us all of your crazy flavors!"

If you don't like cheesecake, Page said she is certain you will like hers.

"99.9% and you can quote me on that. People who have tasted these cheesecakes that said they thought they didn't like cheesecake actually like these cheesecakes," she smiled.

She said the most popular flavor of cheesecake she sells is red velvet. 

Page points out that her favorite part about the job are the people she impacts.

"Husbands whose wives just gave birth and these cheesecakes are the cheesecakes she wants. And so, stories like that keep me going." she explained.

This fall, they'll offer seasonal flavors like pumpkin pie cheesecake and pecan pie cheesecake.

They do offer more than six different vegan flavors and some gluten free cheesecakes.
