COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WFXG) - The Columbia County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting.

Dispatch tells FOX54 the call came at 11:45 a.m. Deputies were sent to 4311 Wrightsboro Rd in Grovetown near Hardee's and Gas Pro. 

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office tells us 51-year-old Sergey Kleyman and another man got into a verbal argument inside the Hardees on Wrightsboro Rd. During the argument, Kleyman shot at the victim several times inside restaurant. The victim ran to Gas Pro and called for help.

No one was hurt during the shooting. Kleyman was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of firearm or Knife during commission of a crime and Reckless Conduct. Below is Kleyman's mugshot.



When FOX54 arrived on scene, the Hardee's parking lot was filled with nearly a dozen law enforcement vehicles.

Nearby business owners were shocked to learn what was happening, saying they heard nothing and the the area is generally safe.

The Hardee's is still open. According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office the investigation is ongoing.
