RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WFXG) - Windsor Jewelers could be moving from its high-profile location on Washington Road soon.

You may have heard the store is moving to Riverwatch Parkway into the old Comcast building. Fox54  reached out to Windsor, and they told us the move is likely.

Shane Thompson with the jewelry store says, they still need to navigate some obstacles before the deal is finalized.

Windsor says the move will give them more space, which will allow them to display more jewelry.

"We're about 13,000 square feet, and we're on two levels, so we have some challenges there for growing. we kinda maxed out of how we can display product and the experience we can give our guest. We still try to do the best we can with what we have. this new space allows us to open our floor plan up and make everything more accessible and better flow for our customers, giving them the experience they would expect", explained Thompson.

There is no set date on when Windsor will move. Thompson says they can stay at their current location as long as they want.

Windsor owns Friedman's Jewelers, and Thompson tells Fox 54 that the new building will house both stores.
