AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says they arrested two people after a drug bust.

The sheriff's office says Sunday, April 28, deputies responded to the Augusta Mall in reference to a shooting. During the investigation of the mall shooting, Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division, to include Violent Crimes, Narcotics and the Gang Unit, were working together to locate and arrest the subjects involved in the shooting. 

According to the report, on April 30 the sheriff's office executed a search warrant at 3411 Webster Road in Augusta. The search warrant led to the seizure of approximately 3.6 kilograms of Fentanyl, 17.82 ounces of Cocaine, 12.24 ounces of Marijuana, 7 firearms (3 reported stolen), 1 vehicle, and $1,766. 

The sheriff's office arrested Jerry “Jaybo” Jackson for Unlawful Criminal Street Gang Activity, Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime. Victoria Griffin was arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl, 2 counts of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. 

RCSO says while serving the warrant, they realized the home was a safe haven and drug distribution location for members of the street gang LOE, Loyalty Over Everything.
