AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - A very sad day for family, friends, and classmates of 14-year-old Anthony Harrison, who was the victim of shots fired Tuesday at the Cedarwood Apartment complex in Augusta.

“That just makes me so sad because that was somebody’s child,” said Windy Murray, a resident of Cedarwood Apartments.

Murray says nothing of this magnitude has ever happened in her neighborhood and she has lived here for about ten years.

And with having her grandson with her, she is worried about the world he is growing up in.

“It's been a safe neighborhood. But kids with guns, it is getting ridiculous,” said Murray.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has released an active warrant for Darryaun Tanksley, a 15 year old boy, for the murder of Harrison, and is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him or have any information about this case, you are urged to call the Sheriff's Office.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Anthony Harrison and we will have more on this story as it continues to unfold.
