COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WFXG) - Grovetown Police Department and Georgia Bureau of Investigation worked together to identify 157 adults who, according to GPD, "expressed a desire to meet for sexual activity, despite being advised that they were conversing with a 'child.'" Investigators identified 12 individuals who said they would travel from as far as Chattanooga and would offer payment for sex with a minor.

Rubicel Castro-Cruz, 33, of Edgefield, Anthony Harley, 30, from Aiken, and James Waller, 31, of Evans were all arrested and committed to the Columbia County Detention Center as part of the operation. Each are charged with sexual exploitation of children.

Grovetown Police Department says additional charges are expected as the investigation is ongoing.
