AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. - The Aiken County Sheriff's Office have charged a North Augusta woman for the murder of her two-month old child. 

Authorities are claiming Jordan Fowler caused the death of her infant daughter, Charlotte, by striking the child in the back of her head with a stainless steel travel mug. 

Authorities allege Fowler hit her daughter because she was frustrated Charlotte was crying. That incident happened on Rita Court in North Augusta on October 15, 2023.  Fowler was previously charged with child abuse and neglect.
