ORANGEBURG, S.C. - A South Carolina State University students has been arrested after reports of shots fired led to a campus lockdown February 6.

Campus police say they responded to reports of shots fired inside an academic building, then located sophomore Rolando Ifill, 19, of Charleston. After a foot pursuit, Ifill was found to be in possession of a gun and taken into custody.

Officials say no injuries were reported, and the lockdown lasted approximately one hour. The incident remains under investigation.
