Checking out properties across Richmond County has a new and improved experience.  The Augusta Information Technology Department announced an "enhancement" to its online mapping application.  The application became active Thursday, February 1.

Evelyn Chanti, GIS Manager, Information and Technology Department, tells FOX54 it was a collaborative effort.
"So, we work in conjunction with a lot of departments in the county. For example, all the parcel information we get from the tax assessor's office. Any data that you’ll see on there we have some federal that comes from.. .the flood zones are in there. Zoning information comes from the planning and development office."
