AUGUSTA, Ga. - UPDATE: The Richmond County Sheriff's Office arrested 30-year-old Shakeichia Jackson. Jackson is charged with murder and is at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center. The Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.

The Richmond County Coroner's Office is investigating a shooting that happened on Verdery St. at Oak St. Thursday.

The coroner says 32-year-old Myron Garnett was shot at least one time and died on scene. At this time, no arrests have been made.

An autopsy is scheduled. No further information at this time.
