AUGUSTA, Ga. - A food truck at the Foodees Food and Culture Festival over the weekend is destroyed after catching on fire, according to a message on the Foodees Facebook page.

The representative wrote the festival vendors are happy no one was hurt in the fire.

They said the many vendors at the festival have already started to come together to help the situation.

The Nothin' Fancy food truck donated one of their own food trucks to help with the loss. Another vendor created a GoFundMe.

Foodees confirms the Augusta Fire Department and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office responded to the fire.

They said, "Even in the eye of tragedy Augusta has been amazing. We are grateful for the support and happy that we will see you again next year!"
