AIKEN, S.C. - The Aiken Parks and Recreation Center hosted its annual Touch-A-Truck event Saturday afternoon. The annual event happened at Odell Week's Soccer Field from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

"It's a day full of fun for kids to be hopping up there, honking the horns, flipping the switches, and all the sights and sounds." said Kathleen Hutto, Aiken Parks and Recreations' Program Coordinator.

Hutto says there were 30 trucks present at the event. Firetrucks, Police cars, Tractors, and more were scattered throughout for kids to enjoy. Hutto tells us that planning this even took almost four months, but it was worth it.

"This event is really geared towards the younger kids..." said Hutto.
