AUGUSTA, Ga. - A Martinez man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for creating sexually explicit images of children.

Edmund Brown, 36, is set to serve 30 years behind bars after pleading guilty to two counts of production of child pornography. His sentence will be followed by 20 years of supervised release. He will register as a sex offender and is ordered to pay $113,460 in restitution.

According to the court ruling, Homeland Security Investigations seized multiple devices from Brown's possession in May 2022. It was discovered he had used his cell phone and a hidden camera to capture sexually explicit images of two children over a period of two years.
