GROVETOWN, Ga. - The Columbia County School District is investigating an incident at Grovetown High School in which a teacher allegedly struck a student during class.

Cecile Williams, JROTC instructor is suspended for the duration of the investigation. Williams was arrested by Columbia County School District Police and charged with simple battery.
