AUGUSTA, Ga. - UPDATE: One man has been arrested and charged in relation to the hit-and-run death of a 21-year-old in Augusta.

RCSO tells FOX54 34-year-old Johnathan Darnel Brown is charged with felony homicide by vehicle and felony leaving the scene of an accident.

RCSO's traffic division was able to utilize the department's Flock cameras to identify the vehicle as part of its investigation.

Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen tells FOX54 Zyionna Fields, 21, died when struck by a vehicle on Mike Padgett Hwy.

Bowen says Fields was pronounced dead just before 3 am September 6th. An autopsy has been scheduled and the incident has been called a hit and run.
