SALLEY, S.C. - UPDATE: The Aiken County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Breanna Bell, 22, of Columbia. Bell's cause of death has not yet been released. Aiken County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation.

Investigators are on the scene of a deceased person who was found on the side of the road near the intersection of Salley Road and Veterans Road. 

According to Officials, the call came in around 1:30 PM. A witness called 911 about finding a Caucasian woman who appeared to be deceased. 

Aiken County Sheriff's Office says they are working with the Aiken County Coroner's office to determine the identity of the decedent as well as investigate the cause of death. 

As this investigation progresses, information will be released as it becomes available.
