FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up the last day of AT&T Training Camp. This marks the close out the NFL preseason and now the team is getting ready for the season to come.

On Sunday, Falcon Players and Staff gathered at Flowery Branch for their final day of training camp.

The athletes spent more than a month perfecting their skills for the upcoming season.

Atlanta Falcons Head Coach, Arthur Smith says after Monday's practice, they will start making a lot of roster changes.

"We're doing what we feel is best for us. I don't anticipate any more [cuts] until Tuesday," said Coach Smith.

Changes, meaning roster cuts. When asked about releasing Offensive Lineman Jalen Mayfield, "You give everybody these opportunities and doesn't mean these guys can't go other places and have great careers, but we have to do what's best for this team. That's what guides us, and you try to be fair and objective." Said, Coach Smith. The current 86-man roster will be cut down to 53 in a few days.

Desmond Ridder says it's important for everyone to understand every function of the team.

"I've obviously gained comfort with that over the past year, over the past two years, and just continuing to grow," said, Ridder.

Whereas backup Quarterback Taylor Heinicke shares his experience during training camp.

"I think I have come a long way. I think the biggest struggle for me was learning the language." Said Heinicke.

Rookie Running Back Bijan Robinson says he is the guy to provide for his team.

"I'm just a very versatile player that can, catch the ball and run, break tackles. Just very aggressive...pretty much just the player that can kind of do it all on the field." Said Robinson.

On Tuesday, the current roster will be cut down and finalized to a 53-man roster. The Falcons' first game will be September 10th against the Carolina Panthers at Mercedes Benz Stadium.
