Weather Anchor Tori Smith is a weather personality that loves to bring accurate forecasts to the CSRA. Her passion for weather began when she was eight years old, when the movie “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” came out in the theater. She told herself she wanted to be the character “Sam Sparks” in real life.

Tori joined the WFXG Weather Team in July 2023 and is working as a full-time Weekend Weather Anchor and Multimedia Journalist. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. She is continuing her studies for her Broadcast and Operational Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University Online. Once completed, she will be pursuing the NWA Seal of Approval as well as the CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) Seal.

In her four years in northern Arizona for college, she worked at the college station NAZ Today gaining experience in the broadcast industry, especially on the weather wall, earning a national award for first place: best student full newscast 3 days a week.

You can watch Tori on the weekends at 10pm and occasionally fill in for Jay or Alex weekdays.
