AUGUSTA, Ga. - UPDATE: The Richmond County coroner has identified the male victim as Thomas L. King, 62 years old, the owner of Thomas L. King Funeral Home.

One person is dead and another was injured after a shooting on the 2500 block of Henry Street late Thursday. 

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says it got to the scene around 9:40 p.m. and found a female who had been shot at least once. She was transported to the hospital for her injuries. 

Deputies then located a male who had shot himself. He died from his injuries. 

FOX54 is still working to learn what led up to the shooting and the identity of the victims.
