NORTH AUGUSTA, Sc (WFXG) -  One person is dead after a collision in April resulted in their death. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened on April 26, at 11:12 p.m. on Interstate 20 near the 1-mile marker.

The report states two vehicles were involved in the crash. The first vehicle was a 2001 Mercury Sedan, and the other was a 2003 Victory Motorcycle.

According to officials, the incident happened while the 2001 Mercury Sedan was disabled in a travel lane; the 2003 Victory motorcycle hit it.

Officials say the driver of the Sedan was not injured. However, the motorcycle driver was taken to Augusta Medical University, where they later died from injuries to the crash.
