AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - Two adults were arrested Monday after a physical altercation between two students after school at Glenn Hills Middle School.

According to a letter sent to parents, the students were engaged in an altercation in the car line when one of the student's parents and companion got out of their vehicle and approached the fighting students.

At some point, one of the adults allegedly made a threat, school officials say. As a result, RCSS Police were called and both adults were arrested.

Details on the nature of the threat were not immediately available, but school officials say no weapon was recovered. RCSS says the students will also be addressed by school system police and the code of conduct.

FOX54 is still working to learn the identity of the parents and the nature of their charges. Check back to this story for updates.
