UPDATE: Two people dead, three injured after shooting on Sand Bar Ferry Road

UPDATE: The Coroner's Office identifies the two deceased victims as 30-year-old Keith Coates of Valdosta, Ga., and 51-year-old Germayne Farrell of Daytona Beach, Fla. 

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - The Richmond County Sheriff's office is investigating after five people were shot Saturday night. Two are now dead and three are injured. It happened at Sand Bar Ferry Road at East Boundary. 

Officials say deputies responded to the area at about 6:35 p.m. The Criminal Investigation Division is on the way to the scene.
