AIKEN, S.C. (WFXG) - The Aiken County Coroner's Office is investigating the death of an Aiken man after his body was found inside an abandoned warehouse.

The man's body was discovered by a friend in a warehouse on the 100 block of Williamsburg St. near Richland Ave. Monday afternoon at around 1 p.m., the friend flagged down a Highway Patrol trooper who was traveling on Richland Ave. The trooper alerted Aiken Public Safety.

The man has been identified as sixty-year-old Alvin Patrick, Jr. Investigators do not suspect foul play, but an autopsy will still be performed.

The coroner's office and Public Safety are investigating.
