BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WFXG) - The Burke County Sheriff's Office is searching for a fourth person in connection to the murder of Simon Powell.

The sheriff's office is seeking out sixty-two-year-old Randall Eugene Johnson for questioning in the case. Johnson is described as being 5-feet-10-inches tall and around 145 lbs. He's believed to have connections in Augusta, Waynesboro, and North Carolina.

Investigators are also still searching for forty-three-year-old Crystal Gail Simmons (Mundy) for questioning in the case.

Simon Powell went missing from Burke County more than six years ago. Back in June 2022, the sheriff's office offered a $30,000 reward for information about his disappearance. Since then, the case has continued to grow and expand. Investigators first arrested thirty-eight-year-old Stacey Welch in mid-July in connection to Powell's disappearance and murder. Shortly after, investigators began searching a pond in Burke County for Powell's remains. That search expanded to a second pond within a few days.

The next week, U.S. Marshalls arrested another suspect, thirty-nine-year-old Mitchell Lanell Lambert in Cummings, Georgia.

As the investigation continues to evolve, FOX54 will keep following up and update you on the latest developments.
