AUGUSTA, Ga (WFXG) - Dozens of young golfers were front and center at Augusta National Golf Club Sunday for the 2022 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals. 80 players consisting of 40 boys and 40 girls of different age groups competed in a series of three golf challenges - driving, chipping and putting - to earn points.

Here's a look at this year's winners: 

  • Girls 7-9: Autumn Solesbee
  • Girls 10-11: Kylie Chung
  • Girls 12-13: Jenna Kim
  • Girls 14-15: Mia Hammond
  • Boys 7-9: Hudson Knapp
  • Boys 10-11: Bentley Coon
  • Boys 12-13: Michael Jorski
  • Boys 14-15: Jaden Dumdumaya

Players shared their excitement after the ceremony. "I was crying and I was so happy and my dad said, 'I'm so proud of you' and I'm proud of myself and I was so happy," says Solesbee. "It means a lot to me because I've been working at it for like six or seven years," says Dumdumaya. "And to finally win it after trying that long of a time, it's something that I'm very proud of."

The golfers even got a chance to meet some of their heroes like Bubba Watson and Nancy Lopez.
