AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - UPDATE: The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has arrested 24-year-old Ray Streetman in connection to a shooting on Friday at the Red Crab. Streetman is being charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. 

The Sheriff's Office is also asking for the public's help to find Albert Jennings, who is wanted for questioning in connection to this case.

UPDATE: We now know the name of the man shot and killed in South Augusta Friday night. According to the coroner's office, thirty-one-year-old Ashaad Truitt of Miles St. was shot at least once. He was pronounced dead at the scene just before 11 p.m.

An autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab.

UPDATE: Richmond County Authorities responded to the fight with gun shots. Upon arrival, deputies learned the fight broke out among several people.

Several unknown subjects fired several gun shots which struck two subjects. The first subject, a thirty-year-old man from Augusta, died from his injuries. A second subject, a twenty-eight-year-old woman from Augusta, was shot in the right leg and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

This is an active investigation and no other information is available at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY: There is a heavy law enforcement presence outside of a South Augusta seafood restaurant Friday night.

The incident appears to have happened in a parking lot on the 3200 block of Peach Orchard Rd. Dispatch says the call came in as "shots fired". The Richmond County Coroner's Office tells FOX54 that one person is confirmed dead.

Witnesses tell FOX54 it began inside the Red Crab restaurant and then moved into the parking lot where two carloads of people opened fire at each other. These reports have not been confirmed by officials.

FOX54 has a crew at the scene. We're working to obtain more information.
