AUGUSTA, GA. (WFXG) - If you're missing the roar of the crowd or the beauty of the Augusta National this fall, don't worry. There are still plenty of ways to experience the masters this fall, even if you can't make it inside those scenic grounds.

One local hotel is hosting a variety of activities for those wanting to get into the tournament spirit.

Enjoy the Masters at the Partridge Inn- where you can actually cheer and have a beer or one of their special Masters week cocktails.

Lloyd Van Horn is the general manager of the hotel. He said it is an exciting time to welcome locals to enjoy a stay at the hotel. “The Masters week that we are planning is the Masters that is normally is not open to the public,” he said.

It’s a Masters week unlike any other. And for us locals, the festivities at this spot make it a joy. Experience what it’s like to be, well, not a local.

“Everybody either stays away during the Masters or doesn’t even try to come around because we’re packed and we’re so busy so this time you’re all able to come and enjoy and enjoy the hospitality that we have been showing everybody in Augusta for over 110 years,” Van Horn said.

A potential once in a lifetime opportunity awaits you at the Partridge Inn, where you can celebrate the pageantry and majesty of Masters Week every day.

“The city’s got a great buzz and we’re just excited to be hosting people and having a ton of parties here. It really is a holiday here in Augusta. We want to make sure we’re here to cater to the locals.”

Go for the watch parties, cigar room, rooftop bar or to peruse this 110-year-old living history site for the fine dining and sophisticated drinks on the Masters themed menu.

“We’re really excited to change the menu every day and really just cater to a lot of people who maybe don’t always come here during the Masters.”

According to the staff, you won’t find another place in town with food and drinks like this during Masters Week.
