Augusta based company changes name and expands products

AUGUSTA (WFXG) - An Augusta based company has changed its name as they move to provide more lifestyle products for their customers. 

Recteq, formally known as REC TEC Grills decided to change their name as they move to other avenues of outdoor products, such as cooler, apparel, and other cooking accessories. 

The company states the "q" on the end of the company's name was added on to make an emphasis on the quality they provide to their customers. 

Public Relations Director Jody Flanagan said, “We are excited to be able to offer our customers, from all over this great nation,  more than just grills and grill accessories. The “q” is nothing new to us, BBQ and quality will always be at the core of our values.”
