(WFXG) - As of Sunday, May 24, the South Carolina Department of Corrections reported a total of 141 positive COVID-19 cases in their facilities. This includes 28 offenders and 15 staff members in Allendale. Four of those staff members were cleared to return to work.

Of the 141 positive cases, 70 are from staff members and 71 are from offenders. Forty-three staff members were cleared to return to work. The majority of these cases come out of Allendale and Kirkland (eight staff members, four of which have been cleared, and 36 offenders). At this time, there are no reported deaths.

As of Tuesday, May 19, the South Carolina Department of Corrections reported a total of 131 positive COVID-19 cases in their facilities. This includes 28 offenders and 15 staff members in Allendale.

Of the 131 positive cases, 67 are from staff members and 64 are from offenders. Thirty-two staff members have been cleared to return to work. The majority of these cases come out of Allendale and Kirkland (eight staff members, three of which have been cleared, and 36 offenders). At this time, there are no reported deaths.

As of Saturday, May 16, the South Carolina Department of Corrections reported a total of 130 positive COVID-19 cases in their facilities. This includes 28 offenders and 14 staff members in Allendale.

Of the 130 positive cases, 66 are from staff members and 64 are from offenders. Thirty-two staff members have been cleared to return to work. As of Wednesday, May 13, the South Carolina Department of Corrections reported a total of 123 positive COVID-19 cases in their facilities. This includes 27 offenders and 13 staff members in Allendale. SCDC is reporting two cases in staff in McCormick County, one of which has been cleared.

Of the 123 positive cases, 63 are from staff members and 60 are from offenders. Thirty-one staff members have been cleared to return to work. The majority of these cases come out of Broad River (17 staff members, 12 of which have been cleared) and Kirkland (eight staff members, two of which have been cleared, and 33 offenders). At this time, there are no reported deaths.

The South Carolina Department of Corrections reported a total of 29 positive COVID-19 cases, including one in McCormick at the McCormick Correctional Institution, in state facilities as of 10 a.m. on April 12.

The reported cases are all from staff members with the majority coming out of Broad River. At this time, there are no reported deaths.
