RICHMOND COUNTY, GA (WFXG) - WFXG is a big champion for animals in need. This week's featured pet Up Fur Adoption Now –Angelica.

Angelica is a 1 year-old Border Collie mix.

The Richmond County Animal services describes her as such:

"I was returned as my smaller owner was allergic to me. They were calling me Luna but I am still learning my name. I like bones, treats, cheese, and peanut butter. I like all people and is very tolerant and patient with children. I walk on a leash. I am friendly, lap loving, social butterfly but can also be mellow. I am housebroken and will give visual ques to go out. I also like to cuddle and give kisses. I was crate trained at night and like to sleep in a dog bed. I stayed loose in the house. When I get excited I will jump on people. I also give more attention to adults then children.

I am heartworm positive but please don't let that stop you from adopting me. There is a local 501c(3) that can help with the financial cost of the treatment if financial assistance is needed."
