AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The parents of a disabled man found dead inside his Augusta home earlier this year have been indicted. According to court documents, Antoin Sylvester and Stephanie Jones Hawes were indicted on felony murder charges Tuesday.
Back in May, 28-year-old Antoin Hawes, who shares a name with one of the suspects, was found dead inside the home he shares with his parents and siblings on Kissingbower Rd. in Augusta. Investigators learned that, due to a medical condition, he was kept in a bedroom with no furniture, lights, or air conditioning and had the windows boarded up.
