AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - High school football practice started this week in Georgia. Football players are only allowed to practice with their helmets until August 1, when they are allowed to start practicing with pads. For now, TW Josey High School is having those practices without a head football coach.

FOX 54 first brought you the news of Head Coach Raleigh Roundtree resigning from his position self-reporting that he had an inappropriate incident with a former student.

Now, administrators are looking for someone to replace him. They told our FOX 54 News Now reporter Lex Juarez that they will be taking applications for the position until Friday, and hope to have a new coach named next week.

We will continue to follow this and update you.
