THOMSON, GA (WFXG) - Part of Ginger Hill Road in McDuffie County was closed on Thursday, June 28th, due to damage resulting from recent rainfall.
The portion of the road that is closed goes over Germany Creek.
County commissioner Charlie Newton said the road is unsafe to drive on and has to be closed until it is repaired.
There were utility workers on the scene when FOX 54 arrived at the scene. They said they did not know when the road would be back open.
