GROVETOWN, GA (WFXG) - We're taking the weather out on the road with First Alert meteorologist Pierce Legeion.
Pierce was in Grovetown Monday morning, a community that was not always known as Grovetown.
Back in the 1800's, the community was known as Belair. The Grovetown name came from the old Grove Baptist Church, and it is the name the town got when it was incorporated in 1881.
Monday Forecast: Lots of sunshine and the chance for a passing shower in the afternoon. High: 85.
