Farmers Market vendors take interest in selling healthier options

(WFXG) - Each Saturday, CSRA residents enjoy attending a local Augusta Riverwalk Farmers Market from 8 AM to 3 PM. Now, vendors are becoming more interested in selling healthier options based off of customer demands. Papa Mountain Owner Solomon Cohen explains:

"So at the farmer's market we started selling our breakfast tacos, and our Brazilian cheese bread, which is naturally gluten free, made of cassava flour. There's no corn or anything in it. Yeah, we sell ice cold coconut water. We chop them right in front of you. Something for your taste buds."

It is vital we pay attention to the ingredients in our different foods. Farmers believe this is such an important movement. After all, you are what you eat. Take the first step to becoming healthier by altering your diet.
