EDTS Cyber approved by State of Georgia to protect Criminal Justice records

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The State of Georgia recently approved EDTS Cyber as a vendor qualified to totally access the Criminal Justice Information System. This is beneficial, protecting CSRA residents from hackers altering information in federal databases.

Delano Collins, EDTS Chief Information Officer, says: "The threat to citizens through access to criminal justice is that records could be changed, backgrounds could be changed, whether you didn't have a criminal record, and someone adds something, or you did, and it's been removed, or your name is being misused, your identity's being stolen. It is very critical that the federal government protect access to this database."

Now, based off of specialized training, E-D-T-S employees serve state officials as well as federal officials working together to protect locals.
