Construction on Windsor Spring Rd. to cause lane closures and traffic delays

HEPHZIBAH, GA (WFXG) - Drivers in the Windsor Spring area can expect a shift in traffic.

Construction by E.R. Snell Contractors will continue this week from Inverness Dr. to Anthony Dejuan Pkwy. The $27.7 million Windsor Spring Rd. Phase 4 project will require daily lane closures and shifts in traffic. The change will last from Nov. 14 to Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is part of a 3.3-mile widening project beginning south of the intersection of Windsor Spring Rd. and Willis Foreman Rd. and terminates at the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Tobacco Road.

If driving through that area, use extra caution. Slow down, allow extra distance between your vehicle and the next, read signs and obey construction crew workers. For traffic updates, you can go to 511ga.org or download the app. You can also follow Georgia DOT East on Facebook and Twitter.?
