EDGEFIELD COUNTY, SC (WFXG) - UPDATE: Three of Wednesday's lightning strike victims have been discharged from Augusta University Medical Center. The fourth victim has been upgraded to serious condition, meaning they have slightly improved.
Four people have been hospitalized after a lightning strike in the CSRA.
Denise Parrish with Augusta University Medical Center confirms that four people were brought in to the ER after being struck by lightning. Two of the patients are listed in good condition and will likely be discharged soon. One is listed in fair condition. And the fourth is in critical condition.
The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office says the four people were hurt along Luke Bridge Road.
