Twin remembers brother killed in Warrenville shooting, suspect arrested

Brother remembers twin killed in shooting

WARRENVILLE, SC (WFXG) - One man is dead after a shooting in Warrenville late Saturday night.

22-year old Tiquan Oakman was shot in killed in a cul-de-sac on Boucher Court.

Aiken County authorities arrested suspect Tequan Holmes Sunday afternoon.

"Just crying all day, all night and thinking why would somebody wanna do that? Why?" said Shiquan Oakman, Tiquan's twin brother.

It's tough to hold back the tears for Shiquan Oakman and family, trying to process why someone would kill his brother and his best friend.

"Honestly I haven't been to sleep yet, honestly I don't think I'm going to sleep probably for a few days or weeks. It's hard for me, hard for
my family, it's just hard," said Oakman.

The Oakman brothers were just a couple weeks away from celebrating their 23rd birthday together. That was until Saturday night, when authorities
say Tequan Holmes approached Oakman in the driveway of this cul-de-sac and after an argument, shot him.

"It's gonna be hard. We already planned what we were gonna do what we were gonna wear and where we were gonna go, who we were going with. It's going
 to be hard," said Oakman.

Shiquan describes his twin brother as a hard worker and one of the friendliest people in the community, it's a huge void in his life that will not be filled any time soon.

"I'm his big brother, he looked up to me. I was always there when he needed me, he was always there when I needed him," said Oakman.
