Gun stolen from Evans McDonald's restroom

EVANS, GA (WFXG) - The Columbia County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying the person pictured in this article, who they believe stole a gun that was accidentally left in a McDonald's restroom.

The owner of the gun told investigators he stopped at McDonald's on Washington Road in Evans for lunch, visiting the restroom before he left. He believes his Taurus .38 Special pistol and holster slipped off his belt while in the restroom. He did not realize the pistol was missing until later.
