Ryan Paquette indicted for assault, cruelty to children, terroristic threats

APPLING, GA (WFXG) - A Columbia County man has been indicted on several charges from an alleged assault on his wife.

Back in April, Ryan Paquette was arrested for allegedly assaulting his pregnant wife in front of their children. Reports from that incident say Paquette slammed her against a refrigerator, choked her and punching her multiple times in the back, stomach, arms, and shoulders. Paquette had reportedly gotten angry with her for bringing him a sandwich on white bread when he had asked for wheat.

Paquette is indicted for Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, two counts of Interfering With a 911 Call, and four counts of 1st Degree Cruelty to Children.

At the time of his arrest for the alleged assault, Ryan Paquette was already on probation for an arrest in 2014, when he allegedly threatened a Richmond County Narcotics investigator.
