AIKEN COUNTY, SC (WFXG) - Five women were arrested Friday after a drug bust in Aiken County.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators and the Sheriff's Office Tactical Team executed a search warrant in the 1600 block of Edgefield Highway in Aiken. At the house, investigators found heroin, marijuana, ecstasy, and prescription medications.

"The use and sale of narcotics is having a serious effect on our community. With the mutual cooperation between citizens and law enforcement, we will continue to have an impact on illegal drug sales and crime overall," said Sheriff Michael Hunt.

Five women were arrested, and their charges are as follows:

  • Alicia Duplesia: Possession of Methamphetamine, Operating a Stash House
  • Christy Derrick: Two counts Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Poss of Marijuana, Outstanding warrant for Altering, Tampering, Bypassing Utility Meters
  • Judy Coleman: Possession of Heroin
  • Keisha Jenkins: Operating a Stash House, Unlawful Conduct to a Child
  • Nicole Alston:  Poss of Marijuana, Two counts Unlawful Conduct to a Child

The investigation is ongoing, and officials said more arrests are expected.
