AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Bargain hunters had a lot of fun Saturday morning at the Junior League of Augusta's 64th annual attic sale. It took place at the Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
They had great deals on everything from sporting goods, to toys, to clothes.
Thousands of people attended the event this weekend. League President, Valorie Hock, said it usually raises around $40,000 for various causes.
"The money in turn goes back in to our community projects for the Junior League. Including our 'Kids in the Kitchen' event, awards for classroom enrichment, community enabling grants, and arts reach programs," Hock said.
All items not sold at the event are picked by up local non-profits.
