(WFXG) - A Martinez woman along with two other people were arrested in Lancaster County Friday, January 15. According to Lancaster County deputies, they seized 1,517 pounds of marijuana at a traffic stop on Lincoln's west side.
Chief Deputy Jeff Bliemeister said the pot was stuffed into duffel bags inside the RV that was pulled over Friday on U.S. Highway 77, about two miles southwest of the Capitol.
Chief Deputy Bliemeister said it was his department's largest drug seizure by poundage and street value, worth an estimated $7.5 million.
Bliemeister said 28-year-old Isabel Mallar, of Martinez, Georgia, is expected to be formally charged with marijuana possession with intent to sell.
