Sydni Moore is a Multimedia Journalist at WFXG - TV Augusta, she joined the team in May 2019. She is thrilled to bring her passions of interviewing, writing, public speaking, and reporting the news to the beautiful city of Augusta.

She is a Detroit, Michigan native but spent most of her life as a Georgia Peach before attending Mississippi State University, #HAILSTATE. While at Mississippi State she obtained her Bachelors in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting. During her time in college she interned with Headline News (HLN) at CNN in Atlanta, Georgia working with producers on Morning Express with Robin Meade and The Michaela Show. She also interned with the video production team at Mississippi State called HailState Productions where she conducted on-camera interviews with athletes, filmed sporting events, and edited video content.

Sydni is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she serves on the Regional Journalist team by creating video content for upcoming events. Along with this task, she helps provide news content to keep members of the sorority informed.

As an author, Sydni co-wrote a book published by Brown Girls Publishing called "Anything I Wanna Be". She encourages young girls to go after their dreams, and lives by the quote, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” She believes that in order to reach your full potential you don’t have to know what’s ahead, but to just trust that your preparation and belief in yourself will carry you through.

In her free time, Sydni enjoys playing golf, watching football, and having long meaningful conversations about Marvel’s Avengers.
