Lex Juarez

Multimedia Journalist

Lex Juarez joined the WFXG news team as a multimedia journalist in June 2018.

Lex graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism. During her time at UNC, she was highly involved in award-winning, student-run broadcasts and worked at WRAL in Raleigh as a News Production Assistant. Lex also interned at stations in both North Carolina and Texas and had the opportunity through those to cover rallies during the 2016 election, the aftermath of natural disasters and breaking news.

Lex is a proud member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and loves to spend time volunteering, soaking up the sun, and singing karaoke.

She loves to meet new people and hear their stories—and would love to get any tips from you. You can email her at ljuarez@wfxg.com or follow her on Facebook and Twitter.
