Ceara Hester

Multimedia Producer

Ceara Hester is a Multimedia Producer at WFXG FOX 54. She joined the team in August 2019.

Ceara was born and raised in Augusta and graduated from Cross Creek High School in 2013. She attended Augusta University where she graduated in Dec. 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. It was at AU that she discovered the world of journalism and immediately took an interest. She interned for the athletic department at AU and wrote numerous press releases for the sports teams and helped run their social media. Ceara was also Vice President for Augusta University’s chapter of the National Communication Association’s honor society, Lambda Pi Eta.

In her free time, Ceara enjoys hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, cuddling with her cat, Annie, relaxing with a good show or book, and taking as many trips to the lake or beach she can.

This is Ceara’s first career in journalism and she is excited to serve as a news outlet to the place she calls home and the people she calls family. So, if you have any stories you want her to hear about, email her at chester@wfxg.com.
